My Husband was injured in an IED attack in Afghanistan 2007, and the injuries sustained were mainly lower limb. Holidays4Heroes approached my Husband’s Battalion and offered a Holiday package to any Personal injured on Operations.
The Battalions Unit Welfare office contacted my Husband and myself and informed us of this kind offering from Holidays4Heroes and explained to us that it was not only for Husbands and Wife’s but for the whole family.
With two quick phone calls and 6 weeks later my family was on its way to Spain thanks to Holidays4Heroes. Also as my husband has been injured again we have been told the holiday is there any time we want one.
The holiday was fantastic as a family. Alan, myself and the boys had a great time in Spain, for that period of time we never thought about things back home except having a good time as a family. Holidays4Heroes
made our Holiday in Spain special for myself and children who were lucky enough to spend with their dad and me with my Husband.
